- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆**cowboy builder** we used gavin for a full re roof all seemed well at first until the roof started leaking again! I contacted him and he came out and said that the area around the chimney needed pointing and some flashing, it would cost a further £150 so we paid it as it was leaking into both of our childrens bedrooms and winter was approaching. The work was done but within weeks it was leaking again! I contacted gavin and sent pics of the damage which he ignored, until I saw him and he promised to correct the work. Didnt see him again after that and Ive had to get another builder to do the work. Various roofers have looked at his work and said its some of the worse theyve seen. I would avoid this guy hes a compulsive liar and caused alot of stress for me and my family. He offered to pay back the further £200 I had to spend to put his work right.
